Blaine was really interested in these doors. They are huge...7 inches thick. The marble on the wall is in 1 1/4inch slabs. Much of the marble was plastered over as well as the tiles. Much has been refurbished. The floor as you go through each doorway has been worn down over the centuries. It is still in incredible condition.
