The market of Yeni Cami, the Spice Market, or the Egyptian Market has been here for a very long time. You can see that it was established in the 1600's. It was famous for the spices and medicinal herbs that were sold there. Now you can find anything there...and I mean anything. It is so large that you could easliy get lost. We were looking for things to make favors for a baby shower that Jo is doing and found all sorts of bargins in the walking. We only saw a small portion of the market. Blaine thinks it is the best market ever.
