Every specialty has a street. This was the music street in Taxim. The store Blaine is standing in front of has Turkish folk music instruments. I could have spent some time and money in there but everyone else would have been bored. The instruuments were beautiful. It would have been better if someone would have been playing them. There were stores that just sold pianos, guitars, viollins, drums, you name it. It is so different from what we are used to. If you don't know where the street is where art supplies are sold you are out of luck. Everything is so specialized.
