S. took us to a "local" restaurant off the path of the tourist beat. I love Turkish food. This place S. calls the Dungeon. Can you see why? You have to go down to go in. First they bring you pita breat with bulger rice that tastes like Spanish rice and then a dish that is very spicy much like pico de guilo. The main course is either chicken or lamab. I ordered chicken and got lamb. It was spicy and not like other lamb I have had. For desert they bring baklava. Yummy. We invited the owner to come out for a picture. He waited the tables and was a perfect host.
