This is the bike that delivers McDonalds. We were on our way to the grocery store. People here shop every day. You walk and so you can only get as much as you can carry home. The grocery store we went to today was in a very fancy mall. The people were really dressed up. We certainly weren't. JoAnne said only the very rich could shop in that mall. We could never afford to buy anything there but food.

Food is so expensive here that Shane is given a food allowance in addition to his salary. I haven't seen any obese people here. In the stores there is very little junk food. Things are pretty basic. There might be one little section of chips, cookies, etc. There are lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Every store has fresh fish...it is very expensive.

They have bakeries that have good looking bread. JoAnne says that bread doesn't last more than a day here. You can't finds things like donuts. JoAnne said that Krispy Cream just opened a store here but it is far away. We saw a display with a few in. They were $1.00 each.
